Cookie & Similar Technologies Consent Notice

"Noodle" Platform & Landing Pages

FOR INTERNAL LEGAL, CLINICAL AND ENGINEERING REVIEW, NOT FOR PUBLICATION

1. Introduction and Scope

This Cookie & Similar Technologies Consent Notice ("Cookie Notice") explains how Care Neurodiversity India Private Limited ("Care ND India", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Noodle website and landing pages (together, the "Site"), and the choices available to you. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data.

This notice applies to your use of the Site, including the ADHD screener/quiz, the waitlist sign-up, and general browsing. It does not cover cookies or technologies used within the Noodle clinical app once you are a registered patient.

2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" covers pixels, tags, SDKs, and local/session storage that serve the same function — collecting information about your device or activity, sometimes across different sites or sessions. Throughout this notice, "cookies" refers to all of these unless stated otherwise.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

We group cookies into four categories. Only the first is used without asking for your consent.

3.1 Strictly Necessary

These are required for the Site to function — for example, remembering your cookie preference itself, basic load-balancing by our hosting provider (Vercel), or security-related cookies. These do not require consent, since the Site cannot function as requested without them.

3.2 Analytics & Performance

Used to understand how visitors use the Site. ContentSquare is the analytics tool in use for heatmaps and session replay of on-site behaviour. Contentsquare acquired Hotjar's session-replay product, so cookies on the Site are now issued under Contentsquare's own naming convention (see Section 4).

3.3 Advertising & Targeting

Used to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and to show you relevant ads.

Google Ads (conversion ID AW-16514813635) and Google Analytics 4 (G-MHLL31NSN5), delivered via Google's gtag.js base tag, gated by Google Consent Mode v2.

Enhanced Conversions is also live: when you convert (for example, by submitting the waitlist form or the ASRS screener), your email address is sent to Google in hashed form to improve ad-matching accuracy. Hashing pseudonymises your email but does not fully anonymise it — this is still personal data being shared with Google.

Meta Pixel (Pixel ID 2968947076783250), consent-gated (does not load until consent is given).

3.4 Marketing / Functional

Our use of Brevo is entirely backend/server-side. No client-side Brevo script runs on the Site — the only integration point is a server-side API call, triggered only when someone submits the waitlist form, which creates/updates a Brevo contact record directly from our server with no request ever made from the visitor's browser. As a result, Brevo sets no cookies on the Site, and no consent-gated cookie category is required for it. This category has been kept below only to record that conclusion — no on-site consent toggle is needed for Brevo. See our Privacy Policy for how the underlying waitlist data itself (name, email) is handled, including that no ASRS/health data is sent to Brevo, and only for visitors who have ticked the marketing-consent checkbox.

5. Legal Basis for Use

Strictly necessary cookies are used without consent, since the Site cannot provide the function you have requested without them.

All other categories (Analytics & Performance, Advertising & Targeting, Marketing/Functional) are used only with your consent (Section 6 DPDPA), given by clicking "Accept" on the relevant category in our cookie banner or preference centre. Consent for these categories is optional, granular by category, and can be withdrawn at any time (see Section 6 below) without affecting your ability to use the Site or book an assessment.

As noted on the title page, DPDPA does not contain a specific carve-out for cookies as such — the categories above are our own good-faith classification, consistent with global practice, of which cookies fall inside DPDPA's consent requirement and which do not.

6. Your Choices and How to Manage Consent

When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner will ask you to Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Manage Preferences. No non-essential category is switched on by default — each must be actively turned on by you, consistent with DPDPA's requirement that consent be given through clear affirmative action.

You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the Site footer, or by clearing cookies and revisiting the Site. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect functionality on other sites too. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that already took place before withdrawal.

7. Cross-Border Transfers

Some of the providers named in Section 4 (for example, Google, Meta, Hotjar/Contentsquare, and Brevo) may process data outside India. This is permitted under Section 16 DPDPA, which allows transfer to any country or territory except one the Central Government has, by notification, specifically restricted.

8. Children

The Site's screener and waitlist are intended for adults (18 and over), and the Site asks visitors to confirm this before using the screener. We do not knowingly direct advertising or analytics cookies at children.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time, for example if we add or remove a tool. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date, and, where appropriate, we will ask for your consent again.
