How it works

To get started privately, you'll need to register your child on our dedicated portal for under 18s care. We'll guide you through the process step-by-step.

  1. Step 1

    Register on our portal

    Begin your journey

    • First, you'll need to sign up and register a child or young person on our patient portal

    • To do that, click on 'Your care' at the top of this website.

    • Select 'Log in to Under 18s service'

    • Create your account

  2. Step 2

    Choose your pathway and pay

    Secure payment via Stripe

    • Once you've registered, select 'ADHD assessment' *

    • You can then pay for the assessment securely through the payment platform Stripe

    * Please note: autism and dual assessments are only available currently through NHS Right to Choose; private coming soon

  3. Step 3

    Pre-assessment forms

    Fill in some documents

    • These cover your child's everyday experiences

    • We’ll need details of someone outside the family who knows them well: a teacher, SENCo, coach or key worker

    • We understand that the best person isn't always from the child's school

  4. Step 4

    Booking

    We'll be in touch

    • Once we've received all your documentation, we'll book in the appointment and reach out by phone or email

  5. Step 5

    Assessment appointment

    Meet the clinician over video

    • A specialist clinician gets to know the child or young person and their day-to-day

    • Share your perspective, and take part in conversations

    • We'll create a comfortable and relaxed environment

    • Appointment number and length vary by assessment type

Stories from people we’ve supported

'The lady who assessed my son was fantastic. She made him feel very relaxed it was all done to suit him. If he started to get restless we could take a break, he was able to fidget it needed there was just no pressure at all which really put him at ease.'
